Lab
Share, innovate, contribute, play...
If there is one thing we would say about E-NOISE is that we love the web and web technology. The E-NOISE lab is a virtual space where we embrace knowledge exchange and where we experiment with web technologies. These experiments may be funded research projects, community driven open source projects or industry workshops and consultancy jobs.
Consultancy
Over the past few years we have helped both startups and established organisations in designing, implementing and maintaining web applications as well as providing advice in the adoption of web technologies.
A good example of this kind of work is our long running collaboration with StickyWorld Limited in the creation and continuous enhancement of their StickyWorld platform. This project resulted in the development of an MVC framework written in PHP to address the client's needs and is now open to the public as an open source project hosted on GitHub: PHPFrame
Workshops
Covering a broad range of topics and abilities E-NOISE can provide assistance with various kinds of web projects and technologies. We are developing a series of workshops run by E-NOISE staff who have extensive experience in web application technology as well as lecturing at universities in London, UK. Our fields of expertise are PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, WordPress and website optimisation.
Open Source projects
At E-NOISE we believe in Open Source, and we embrace it at many levels, both as users and contributors. Our entire hosting platform is built on Open Source software (such as Linux, Apache, PHP and so on) while at the same time we actively aim to share in-house developed software as well as contributing to existing projects.

Research
Web technology (design, development, hosting, ....) is largely a knowledge industry where you constantly need to keep up to date with new ideas and software coming out all the time. At E-NOISE we believe research is fundamental to the web and so try to always be in the process of learning something new.
In the past couple of years we have been lucky enough to do extensive research in web application technology through collaborations funded by the Technology Strategy Board.
